Beverly and I visited Niagara Falls in September 2016. I remember visiting Niagara Falls as a child but we only visited the American Falls and I don’t remember much except the fast moving water above the falls. Growing up in western New York, Beverly has visited the American Falls several times.
My daughter had visited Niagara Falls with her son the month before; she was enthusiastic about her trip and provided suggestions about what to see and to do, which helped us plan our trip. We chose a Niagara Parks package that included these attractions:
- Hornblower Niagara Cruise
- Journey Behind the Falls
- White Water Walk
- Whirlpool Aero Car
- Floral Showhouse
- Butterfly Conservatory
- Unlimited Niagara Parks bus access
- Unlimited Falls Incline Access (access Visitor Center from city street level)
The bus access and incline access were invaluable since we could come and go as we pleased without worrying about parking or finding our way.
While we were in Ontario, we also visited St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre at Lock 3 of the Welland Canal.
The photo featured in this post is the full moon over the Canadian Falls with the visitor center in the foreground, taken from the top of the incline access.
As I post photos, I will link these attractions to the individual posts.
